There are several ways to get to Labuan Bajo :
– By Air : The easiest and fastest way to reach Labuan Bajo is by air from Ngurah Rai Airport in Bali to Komodo Airport. Operating airlines to/from Labuan Bajo are Garuda Indonesia, Batik Air, Citilink and AirAsia. There are also flights from Jakarta and Surabaya to Labuan Bajo by Garuda Indonesia and Batik Air (subsidiary of Lion Air).
– By Sea : If you are up to a different, more time intensive, travel experience, you can choose to take a PELNI (national ship passenger service) boat from Benoa harbor in Bali to Labuan Bajo (about 36 hrs),
– By Land : It is quite easy and cheap to cover short distances by hopping on and off bemo (minibuses). Another option is Ojek (motorbike taxi) for shorter distance. For longer distances, you may choose to ride on one of the many buses that bring their passengers from one town to another.
